Poured first cup of coffee. 50° with light rain this morning. Heading to 60° with clouds all day. Need to get warmer cloths out. Going to be a good day to work on competeing a couple of projects in shop.

We had a storm come through last night, pushed some of the humid air out. 63 right now. Got in the pool yesterday and noticed the sun angle shifted on the sun sets. Funny how one can miss that! Water is getting cooler. Closing time is right around the corner. Noticed grasshoppers are laying eggs, and the turkeys are out in full force.

Filled our 25000 G pool up with dirt last year. Permanently retired. What a relief. Grass is already growing on top. Yeyyy. Have a great Friday, everyone.

51F partly cloudy given way to sunny sky,gusty windys 15 -20 mph at times highs mid 60's..been good day to stay home mowe etc. sooo guess after work I'll mowe than for couple hours.

Deer keep the fallen apples clean up so mower blades and deck don't take beating.

66, cloudy, breezy and looking more like winter than summer. Had a pretty good storm about 3am. Getting up to 74.

Got the pressure washer going yesterday, and worked about 90 minutes straight on the north wall, the worst of them...I get concerned about our well if I go too long running water, but all okay...except my back...think I overdid the lift and jerk of the ladder over the holly bushes.

Glad most of you had positive reports yesterday and today...I think positive is contagious.

May go for a mountain hike if I get my wife interested, and my back properly stretched out. Coco, the 6 month old Chesapeake Bay Retriever, is always ready to go.

Only saw 3 hummingbirds the whole time I was outside this morning. I guess we've sent most of the rest down your way, Larro. Feed them well.

Nice sunny day here. The strong breeze is settling down as the sun gets up.

The deer and turkeys have been visiting under the apple trees.

I plan on sowing some grass seed here and there, then pick up more rocks and roots in the field today.

77 degrees right now, storms expected as daytime heating ramps up. Pond may overflow. It only takes 2" to fall quickly to overflow if it is 2' down from normal.
