Is there a special tool for the adjustable arms on the L3200 Kubota tractor?

I have been around tractors for a long time, including owning the L3200 predecessor the L3400. But I don't have a clue what an adjustable are is. Can you describe this a little more?

Sorry - I was attempting to describe the two adjustable arms that are the right side and top attach points of the 3 point hitch. They are the tube assembly with each having a 1-1/2" spike on each side in the center of the tube. Once the turnbuckle sections are snugged up it is hard to tighten any further.

Those are the adjustable "top link" and "side link". They are meant to be hand tightened, and you do not normally use a tool. If you are attempting to tighten them when there is weight on the 3-pt hitch and find it difficult, you should take the weight off the hitch first. Also be sure the threads are properly lubed -- if rusty, these are a pain to work with even when unloaded.

I am sure you could use the loop end of an adjustable wrench or box wrench to crank on the pins, but they won't take a whole lot of force so go easy. Really, if the adjuster is that hard to turn, you need to relieve the load first.

Also be sure to check that the jamb nut is not snugged up against the movable tube of the jackscrew. It if is loosen it and screw it out of the way of the movement of the center threaded tube.
