Spare key - CK22-HST

Hello,

I live in France, and thanks to a messy separation from my partner she's hidden the keys to my tractor. The usual local dealer I use is shut for August (this is normal in France) and other dealers I've tried claim the CK22 doesn't exist (CK20 yes, CK25 yes, CK22 no). I also can't find anywhere in Europe that even stocks Kioti spare parts. Any ideas?

The tractor has been sitting outside for days as I had to repair a problem with the hydraulics, but now it's just sort of rusting away in a field and I desperately need it to manage the farm I have.

Most tractor manufacturers use the same key on a lot of different models. I would try a key from a CK20 or a CK25. A this point you have nothing to loose.

You may have better luck hot-wiring the switch - or, just replace the ignition switch.

Replacing the switch is OK, but I would not try hot wiring. The switch has multiple "output" wires for crank, glow, stop solenoid, accessory, etc. It's hard to get all that right if you hot wire.

I had to replace the ignition switch on my CK30hst and the new one had the same key cut as the old one. The CK20 was a smaller frame tractor compared to the CK25, CK27, CK30, and CK35 but I believe used the same switch and most likely the same key. Any one of these should work.

I received only 1 key with my new DK50. Getting another was quite a challenge. It seems there are at least 3 different keys, and mine uses the latest variety - which the dealer did not have and did not know.

Try this; I've used my kioti key to start and run a JCB back hoe and visa versa! OR, if you know someone who has a kioti, barrow his/her key. Believe it or not almost all kioti's have the same key cut (simular to cat, deere, case etc.) I have 2 keys; 1 from my ol' ck20 that I traded in and the one that came with the ck30------both have the same cut!
