Hi, I am new to the mulching world so I need a little help. I have a opportunity to bid on some good mulching jobs, one being 40 acres, and the other 400 hectares. Any help in how to approach it, I have two skidsteers and three excavators. Leaning towards getting mulchers for my excavator.

I haven't had a VTS equipped skidsteer since 2009 but when I had it it worked fine. I've still got a set to fit a Large frame skidsteer with new tracks that has never been installed.

I'd love to get Denis Cimaf mulching head for my Cat mini ex 305.5, but they only make them for 7 tonnes and up. I was chatting with an operator using one on a 20 tonne excavator doing ditch maintenance that was long over due. He could shred pines that were well over a foot in diameter right down to ground level with nothing left but chips in no time. Very impressive.

Well that wheel and tire combo certainly solves the Mustangs ground clearance issue from the factory. Looks almost like a set of front backhoe wheels send tires. Wonder if it will affect drive motor life....the cimaf certainly performs very well like usual!
