Coffee is brewing. 59° with mostly clear skies this morning. Heading to 84° with mostly clear skies. Had a great picnic with our friends. High point was the Thunderbird's came over top of our picnic at what looked like 100'. No pictures. When they are coming at you. You do not hear them until they have passed. Need a day of rest again. Then some NASCAR.

50 and foggy right now.
83 and clear today...looks to be another grand day! And probably the last nice day for 3 or 4 days...

Finished mowing yesterday...in the future, if the grass gets more then 3-3.5 inches high, I must raise the deck and mow a bit higher. I've got one section looks like I hayed it. I normally leave the mowing until the weekends, but I reckon I'll do at more frequent intervals. As I'd written in previous posts, the z920A is faster and takes less time to prep it for mowing. It's also considerably easier to adjust mowing height (since the RFM uses spacers, one has to raise the RFM, drop the caster wheels off and add or remove spacers).

Feeling and looking a lot more like fall. Sweetgums and sumacs already have some maroon and yellow leaves, and goldenrods are, well, golden.

Good morning all, 64F heading to 84F. Busy day yesterday, went to work, then to new house to do work, then to Lowes to buy supplies so I can do more work. Starting to hate this 4 letter word, WORK.:laughing:

We have had unusually consistent moisture this summer. Our rain-dependent pond is full which is a first for August. The normal 3-4 week stretch of dry weather just hasn't happened. I had to water the garden a couple times early on, but that was it.

Upper 70's forecast for today. We are back to the daily 30%-40% chance of scattered afternoon t-storms today and for the week ahead.

I put the backhoe on a couple days ago, so I will continue working on some small backhoe projects today.

81* this a.m. Going to 100*+. Heat Index projected to be 108*-110*. Trailering a horse across town for a training session. Not much getting done around the place today.
