Jim the best pay we can get for the fun project is your use of it.

I'm a little embarrassed to even be included in the company of folks like Harvey, Don, and Mike. For those of you who don't know them, these guys have it all; intelligence, experience, personality, and the physical ability to design and carry out almost any project together. They put in a lot of hours of hard work on this project, but I know they enjoyed it, just as I did with the tiny bit that I participated in.

And of course, Jim fit right in that group, too, until his health problems slowed him down. But this time I told him I only came to visit, play with his tractor (since I got rid of my last one about 12 years ago), and let him buy my lunch.

"Near" in Texas is kind of relative. Texas is 1000 miles E - W and N - S...Txdon is a neighbor - 15 miles from me....Jim & Kathy are 263 miles & 4.5 hours -- still relatively close by Texas standards. You don't pack a lunch to drive across Texas ...you pack a bag.

It's great that you could all get together and help a fellow TBNer who, even though could have eventually hired a crew to install that lift, could get friends like you folks to help.

Good for you. I've also met a few TBNers who I'd help in a minute. Who knew that when we joined this tractor forum that we'd find such good friends.

Don and Mike did a test with a huge boulder for strength, they have a photo of that test to contribute. It worked.

Mike, do you have that pic on the boom test. We wanted to make sure of our rigging and the boom before we picked up Jim's nice, but heavy and tall lift.
