Why not just call your dealer and ask them? You would have had the answer two days ago, and you'd know it was correct.
If you later go to sell it, and they don't believe what you tell them, give them the serial #, and they can call an LS dealer, or contact LS themselves. Nothing we're going to come up with here is official, so it always comes back to contacting the manufacturer, or a dealer.
I did. They didn't know.That was before I posted here. Today I called the parts dept in N.C. The guy I talked to was very helpful and informative. He explained to me that there is no way one can determine the year of a LS tractor by its serial # unless you possess a referance chart which he had. He told me that this referance chart just became available to him in the last two weeks. He looked up the serial # of my tractor and told me it was built October 22 2012. I assumed it was a 2013 or 2014 it being new. Now I know. This referance chart is not yet available to the public but I would guess that it will be in the near future.
