Older sprayer used for Roundup

I've got an ATV sprayer that I used a few years ago (7+) for round-up'ing the fence lines at my horse farm. Now the horse farm is sold, and I need a sprayer to apply herbicide to my 1.5 acre lawn. Can I use the old sprayer that was used for Roundup? Is there a way to clean the Roundup residue out? Or, do I need to get a new sprayer? thanks in advance.

That's said to remove pesticide.

Many a good plant has died because roundup wasn't fully cleaned out of a sprayer. My Grandfather killed a small part of an orchard because the sprayer wasn't clean.

nutra-sol will neutralize stuff like hy-dep, but ive been told that all the rubber gaskets need to be replaced if round up was used.

Personally, i think if you were to run 8-10 loads of clean water thru it, it should be neutralized and Diluted enough. you can always test it on a small area and wait a few days to see what happens.

You don't need a new sprayer, think about all the custom spraying outfits and farmers going from one herbicide to the next. Usually it's just a triple rinse through the pump and nozzles and it's clean enough for the next batch.

Roundup can be used as a grass growth retarder at ultra-low rate, so hopefully the worst you'll do is ****** the growth.
