Here's my set-up. Hadn't planned on using this truck to pull heavy but sometimes you have to make things work. Probably about 30k gross or close to it

I wish you were close Brett. My CTL is sitting dead next to a creek bottom with a blown primary hydraulic hose. It's not accessible without pulling a track and final drive. I'm going to try to drag it outa there with a SVL90 tomorrow. It's raining right now....

I keep equipment long enough so over time I can adjust tire pressure to correct for uneven wear...

A couple of years ago I towed my equipment trailer down from the mountains in the dead of winter... had 50 in all trailer tires... when I was going through the desert, I check pressure and that 50 was now over 60 psi.

Nitrogen can help a bit with temperature swings, but there is no substitute for regular checks - manual or TPMS. I've seen it swing 30deg C here, in one day, w/o driving anywhere.

A problem I see often enough on pickups is when a guy is always running the LTs on the rear at 80psi, but the truck is mostly empty all the time..... then wonders why the centre of the tire wears out.

That, and the other big issue is paying no attention to the manufacturer's tire pressure specs for the vehicle, and just setting all tires at the Max pressure on the sidewall.

Not for nothing.... a standard check on single vehicle rural highway wrecks is to note all the tire pressures, as improper inflation is a common problem.

That's no good. Break downs are a pain but being so inaccessible makes it that much worse. Good luck. I hope you can get it out. The mud might help it slide

More important than my truck and dump trailer, I got Bill, one of my dogs, to hold still long enough to shutterbug.

Owlingtons Belly Acres 2014 017.jpgOwlingtons Belly Acres 2014 016.jpg This is My re-furbished Kubota hauler, the trailer was pretty typical upon purchase black and rust, Blasted, painted, added the rear ramp which is totally removeable in about 3 minutes. Although it ended up being the wrong shade of orange ( just have to wait for the kubotas to fade to match the trailer lol. replaced the floor decking with an aluminum section of floor from a wrecked Highway Reefer trailer ( always good to recycle!!) Switched over to LEDS all aroundOwlingtons Belly Acres 2014 014.jpg Owlingtons Belly Acres 2014 014.jpg Hope these pics show up first attempt at posting pics
