JD 5075E Cab
I am about to pull the trigger on a new JD 5075E cab. The dealer is still waiting on the 2nd rear scv to arrive so he can install it. Right now, it is still on the dealer's lot. However, once the additional scv is installed, the tractor is mine!! :cool2:

I am also getting a 553 FEL and MX8 rotary cutter.

I know the rules......it didn't happen without pics!

Pull that trigger!

Sweet machine and set up there! I believe you're the first person on this forum to post pics of a new 5E series with a cab AND 553 FEL.

I have a new 5075E open station, PowrRev, and a 553 FEL and MX6. I would like to get an MX8 someday.

You have an excellent set up that is going to keep you happy for a long time! And I'm not sure if you've had a machine with the PowrRev / 540E PTO transmission before, but you will love it.

I use my 540E all the time with my MX6 and Wallenstein BX62. I love the lower engine notice and fuel burn!

Anyway, congrats on a sweet new machine!

Sweet. Totally different look, cluster wise from my open station, 3sp/3range w/o shuttle.
Note, your tires are in their narrowest setting. Any hills in north central Miss? Though dealer probably likes them narrow to load onto his truck. Now would be the time to have them the way you want.

That is one sweet ride! I am looking at the 5075E too and the 5085E. I haven't made a decision yet. What type of tires are you running on this 5085? Also did you get a stereo installed within the cab. I really appreciate the photos. I know how excited you must be. I am too for you and I don't even know you :) Congratulations!

The 5075E's come standard with Goodyear Duratorque 16.9x28 R1s in the rear and 9.5x24 R1s in the front (MFWD).

Sat in one today on my dealers yard. Makes me consider selling my open station for a cab. Will be curious to hear how this unit functions this summer in the heat. Have heard some peoples cab tractors A/C not cooling well.

The a/c in my 5083 wasn't cooling right so we sent it back to our dealer and they had some stuff backwards. Other than that it's been a great machine and I hope you enjoy you 5075

Trey318, was it not cooling at all or just blowing cool air instead of cold air? My 5075e doesn't seem to blowing as cold as I think it should. It was 70 today. Although I was comfortable and the air was fairly cool, I believe the AC should be able to blow me out of the cab when its only 70 deg outside, but it was nowhere near that cold. My truck AC is noticeably colder.

It was just cool air, if it's fixed correctly you'll have to run the a/c on low so you don't freeze to death.

That's what I thought as well. I'll have to get them to Check my ac next week when they install my 2nd rear scv.

IIRC on some of the 3x & 4x series the cab roof needed to be removed and seals replaced due to not properly sealed. Don't know if same would apply for yours.

We had die in the system on ours, but that's kind of a rare thing

OP, did you take delivery of this baby yet? How do you like it?

I have taken delivery, but it's back with the dealer right now to install the 2nd scv and to fix a few bugs. I should have it back any day now. It's been too darn wet to use it anyway!
