I have a Max25 HST with FEL with no cab or any real accessories.

I'm trying to come up with a way to carry a soda can and other stuff on the FEL controller bracket (the only convenient place I can think of). I wear glasses and want to carry my sunglasses as needed, a pair of glove, an oil rag, smokes, cell phone, etc. but have it separated from the liquid carrier area in a general fashion.

So far I've come up with an SMV bracket, another L bracket attached and bent as the hanger, a magnet from a dead hard drive to hold it in place. The can holder is PVC coupler with zip ties. The problem is now the "dry" bin.

Anyone have any ideas?

Or is there a pre-done solution already?

What about a plastic ammo can?

I'm looking more for something that would be like center console unit that is in a car, than a full up box. No lid, but deep enough stuff will stay in it. You can grab the stuff without really looking at it as you are running down the field.

Did a quick google search, here are a couple of ideas

The first is a John Deere item, but is available from Amazon. The second is from tractor caddy.

Not sure if this is what you wanted...

The first one is in the ball park for size but is designed to mount to a cab's window with suction cups.

The second one is a perma-mount with glue strips to the hood. Not a chance in Hades that I would do that.

Fanny pack strapped to loader. You can get many sizes in camo, with multiple pockets.

I got a drink holder from Mac tools, it is magnetic and has an adjustable strap for different size cans.

mount a toolbox to fender or ROPS and attach a marine style swinging cupholder to it??? :confused3:

Great question I'd like some similar storage for my my max 28; seems to me the Deere 1026r came with a hard case mounted to the ROPS. If you"d accept a closed container you could probably use one on each side. Thanks for the idea I think I'll be looking for something now too.

My plastic ammo box leaks. I tried to make an improved gasket with hot glue, no luck.

This is what I came up with:
Caddy_01.jpg

This is what it looks like off the tractor.

Here is the bottom.

Here it is hung.

The caddy is made of a SMV bracket, a 4 inch shelf bracket, a 3 inch PVC coupler, a 4 in PVC end cap and coupler a cut up can koozie, some bolts and zip strips.

What do you all think?

I have no luck carrying carbonated beverages on my tractor or mower. The vibration quickly flattens it out

The beer does too. :( But at least I don't have to really worry about it spilling. And it allows me to light up while still having something to drink afterward.

Just an update.

I drilled a two holes through the bottom of the big side to let out any water it collects (the occasional rain that makes it under the tractor's shelter). I need to make sure that the grease rag is all the way in. When I brush by a tree or bush it can pull it out. But otherwise it is working well.

Pretty innovative. (sp?) I don't want to start drilling into the tractor. I like the idea of using what is available.

Thanks.

I didn't drill anything in the tractor. The holes were drilled in the end cap piece. That is the larger of the two cylinders. I was finding dew and other liquid collecting in it.
