MF 383 hydraulic problems?

After all the cold weather I got on tractor and 3pt lift doesnt operate all the time and the loader which operates from remote is slow and doesnt want to work when tractor is on incline. Is my hydraulic fluid low? and do I need to change fluid and filter. Where is the filter located? Your answers are greatly desired and appreciated!

What kind of oil in it? Suction screen for three point pump on bottom of center housing. It's a plate with three small bolts. Drain hyd/trans oil, remove plate then screen. Holds around 12? gals oil. Screen for aux. hyd. on right side by center housing plate. The round plate behind batt. box. Remove four small bolts from rear and take out screen. If screens are plugged up clean with solvent. What condition are shifter boots in? Cracked? Does machine stay out in the elements? Master control spring has boot also that can crack and allow water and dirt in oil. What does the oil look like, milky? If so that's water. Suction tube for aux hyd pump can also crack and suck air, but that would cause "jumpy" loader operation. If its only poor performer on incline, check oil level first. Machine on level ground, 3pt down, loader down, and bucket rolled back. Is this late or early serial number? Does it have spin on hyd filter on right side of engine? If so it's later serial number. The spin on filter is a return/steering filter. You need to look on the suction side of system, oil level and suction screens.
