Its been a long winter this year and I'm getting rather tired of the cold and/or the snow.. not sure how much more I can take before I have to shed my skin!

Anyone else feeling a bit fed up?

Yeah. Same here. Ready to get out and do stuff besides slip n slide on ice and clear snow.

Winter cold came early and it's staying late.

I know the feeling too. I won't complain when it hits 105 during the summer. I PROMISE!

I just keep telling myself, "after this week it will be a little bit warmer". Sooner or later, it will come true. And I'll appreciate spring more than usual this year.

I'm feeling the same. The snow I can take. Waking up to -5 every day is wearing me down.

Not only has winter worn out the welcome, when Spring comes it will be all at once and in your face so pruning and all other Spring chores will have to be rushed. Normally, savoring and smelling the warm up is it's own reward but this year no time to smell the roses.

I notice all the comments come from out east. This is easy to solve. Just move out west .....and when we have lots of snow and cold you can move back again. :)

Its been so frigid cold around here sap ran for only one day so far...and looks pretty much the the same weather for at least another week too!

Anybody else getting predications of a huge snowstorm headed for New England?

Haven't heard about a new storm coming. I checked the 10 day forecast this morning just to see when this cold streak is gonna break. Not for a while. I gotta say though, I do not like 80s and muggy. At least now the mosquitos are not a problem.

Maybe I can add to that. There is a huge storm coming up the central Ohio region on Sunday night and heading NE in a big way. We're supposed to get 6" to a foot of snow and this is a much warmer climate than you. Not sure of it's ultimate destination, and I don't think anyone does is this must be the possible storm you mention.

It supposed to be south of Medina County in Ohio, I hope that's true

Ya that's probably the one Murph. Stretching out all the way from California they show.

Predictions for 18-22" in parts of Mass, Conn, NH, and VT!

This winter has brought some of the best ice for fishing in the last 5 years and I've had to work every weekend for the last month! :(

But we do have time for fun!
Close road, Cut ice from lake, stack blocks up road, and get on toboggan.

I'm sick of it too. But like someone posted. I dont mind the cold, but I hate waking to sub-zero weather. Turned the thermostat down to 64 to save on Propane. I also remind myself that spring doesn't officially start for 20 days. If it only gets down to 10-20 at night I'm happy. Maybe, JUST MAYBE, this will be the last storm for the year.

I too am terribly upset with the weather. Every day we have a high between 65 & 80, but every night it gets down to the high 30's or low 40's. I wanta plant those seedlings I have started in the potting shed so bad I hurt - but the Farmers Almanac says last frost March 9th. I'm afraid I'm gonna have to mow my lawn before I can transplant my maters

Temp hit -35 yesterday morn: 160 inches of snow so far this season with two brief warm ups in the low 30's since December. You bet I am tired of moving the white stuff and getting cabin fever.
