4-in-1 CAT 78" Multipurpose 4 in 1 Bucket on John Deere 110 TLB

Haven't used a 4 in 1 bucket but the standard buckets have small tabs on the top corners to help you determine the bucket angle. The cab does block the bucket level indicator but with use you won't need it anyway. At any rate it is a concession I was willing to make to have the cab and after eight years I had forgotten the indicator was there.

Grappling logs with John Deere 110 and Caterpillar 4 in 1 78" bucket. Log is 32' long, green red oak, weight approximately 2375 lbs.

I would suggest removing the back cover plate that covers the lines and never seize all the bolts, because when a line blows you'll need to remove it to replace the line.

Did that Sunday. There was a lot of spoil in there! Looked like stone and stone dust. Obviously holds moisture. All in and amongst hoses and fittings. Got that all cleaned out.

There is a formed corner adjacent to the top of the cylinder on the 4-in-1 bucket that I use as a level guide. I'm not sure if that's truly what it is and it seems that it aims slightly upward with bucket level. If I get snow or spoil on that, it's hard to gauge level, if that's in fact what it's. I just replaced my right upper pin and cleaned all the level indicator/anti-spill over mechanism. I was eyeballing the sightline while in seat through cab to indicator.

I see a location where I can hole-saw the cab to promote a sightline. With that, I'm going to start a new thread for ideas.
