Thank for the help! If nothing shows on stick, how much would you add at that point?

Looked at the front axle oil level, it appeared to be ok, there was oil dripping off of the dipstick when I removed it, you are right it is hard to see a distinct level.

The other thought I had was related to my MMM brackets. The MMM is off, but for some reason, I cannot get the dial under the seat to lock in the "Top" position. Last year I purchased and installed a new notched part (CAM) that goes underneath the floor, but this did not help. Perhaps something is vibrating or making this noise that is related to this.

Thanks once again.

If the Kubota dealer also sold Harleys he would tell you its just a Kubota sound they all do that.

Try different ranges on your hst and see if it does that sound in all three L-M-H

The 3 point hitch has to be all the way in the up position before you can lock in the "Top" position.

Yeah I know about the hitch having to be all the way up. For some reason it won't go into the top position even when the 3 point is all the way up. Also, it won't hold at a particular cutting height. When lowering it it just goes all the way to the bottom and the knob spins.

Thanks so much to all who offered help with this. This forum has been a great help to me over the years in getting to know this machine.

The sound still lingers, cannot pinpoint it. Of course I get a neighbor to walk along and it won't make the sound. I go out this morning and sure enough back again. It still sounds like it is coming from the front of the tractor but cannot find out where.

Problem solved, have the neighbor walk next to the tractor.

Make sure the legs/stands for the loader aren't vibrating. I heard mine making a strange sound while warming up the other day and that's what it was.

You mention that the noise occurs when you are plowing snow. How about when you are not? Also I assume that when you mention you are plowing snow that you are pushing snow using either a front end loader or a snow blade. Which is it? If a blade, it could be a rattle from one of the height adjusting feet....I get a similiar sound from the blizzard blade on my RTV900.
