Up to about 4 years ago we had always had John Deere tractor style for mowing, then we bought a JD Z820-A zero turn mower. I had never driven a ZT. While finalizing price negotiations, I asked the JD dealer if a trailer hitch was available and he looked me like I had 2 heads. Now I know why.![]()

Pix as I promised, nothing fancy although allows me to carry a few things back-n-forth, so far the heaviest load has been a stack of firewood, proly 65-75 lbs, it can be easily removed, the ZT had a square hole at the lower rear frame, so I took advantage of it and come up with this idea, it's 26" x 28" I used wire for the bottom in order to still get fresh air into the engines flywheel,
Last summer saw a SUV towing a 5x8 trailer with nothing else on the trailer but a mop and a bucket.
I thought everyone had one of these?
