I agree. That is beyond description.
Whats wrong with it?I agree. That is beyond description.
Whats wrong with it?
They are commercially available and as long as you dont mind burning through back tires, should work fine if well strapped down. No worse than a car on a tow dolly...

A lot of things are commercially available, it doesn't make them a good idea: Towing Hitch Stripper Pole
I always have a good laugh when seeing someone driving a truck with absolutely nothing in the back, and towing a trailer with just a little bit of stuff to haul on it, a few bags of concrete, bales of pine straw, a couple 2x4's etc, etc, a few months back I delivered a washer and dryer to a relative, My truck had the shell cap on at the time, but rather removing it or hooking up my 16' trailer, I got the Cary-all that i used with the RV, load them onto it strapped-um-down and was on my way, I'm sure it looked strange to others, But I didn't need no trailer for that little bit of hauling,![]()
IMHO if folks not going to use a truck as a truck ...via: (Hauling stuff ) whats the point in having one,
Oh I suppose they're not-gonna throw things in the bed and risk getting it dirty, they have a trailer for that
OK... who here have I just described??![]()

We picked up a friends pressure washer a while back. We put it on the landscape trailer. It was overkill, but it weighs close to 150#, so its MUCH easier to wheel onto the trailer than lift into the truck bed.in the last month i have moved a piano and organ ( biguns )
and while they would have easily fit into the bed of my f350 I'd have herniated something doing so... I was MUCH happier getting them on my 16' car hauler that is low tot he ground and easier to ramp something up onto.. easier to tie down..etc.
so yeah.. you've described someone here.. but small load in a trailer and an empty truck bed may mean nothing depending on application.
same with a sod pallat.
it's easier for me to unload from my trailer using my fel, then it is to unload from my truck bed... and there's plenty of room inthe bed for the sod pallat.
