Finally bought a Snow Blower

My wife called yesterday and said we need a snow blower. She has been off for 3 days because she is a teacher and schools are closed. After she shoveled the sidewalk in front of our house she called me and said we need a snow blower. It was drifted about 2 feet. So being the good husband that I am I called around and found one at the local Farm & Home. The guy got it all ready and she went and picked it up. This thing is incredible. I should have bought one years ago. It's a 2 stage Cub Cadet Model 524 WE. This thing will throw snow like nothing I have ever seen. Kinda funny when I did all the shoveling we didn't need one but when she did a little shoveling all of a sudden it's a good idea to buy one. Anyway, if your on the fence about buying one the Cub Cadet is a fine machine with a 3 year warranty. Looking forward to more snow next week.

we never had one growing up - shoveling was a family task that everyone helped out with and a big snowfall might take an entire day to clean up.

when the kids went off to college we got my dad a snowthrower. none of us can imagine how we got by without it or why we didn't get one earlier. these days he clears his driveway and then goes off to do the neighbors', all before lunch.

i've got a plow on my tractor but this week it would have been nice to have a thrower. we've had several storms without any melting time between them and i'm running out of places to push snow! my wife doesn't do the plowing so i don't think your tactic will work for me

I bought a 10hp 24" machine during the summer a few years back.. Wife asked "why? its summer'. After seeing the prices in winter after the first storm, she was glad I did..

My folks got a snow plow for their Land Cruiser and a snow blower for the walks, and a riding lawn mower and a gas leaf blower.... all the year after I moved out. I asked them why they didn't get them earlier? They said "We didn't need them. We had you." :laughing:

My kids, and now grandkids, ask why dont we have a dishwasher? I say I do! he's 5'5" with black hair!
