Pallets in fields

Okay this is a first... I am commenting on my own post. So... uh, I apologize for previous post as it pertains nothing to the scientific pursuit, in this case pallets, of this thread. I just couldn't let the airmail story go. Steve, please get us back on track.... and BTW, why I am asking an economist to help?
Dragoneggs,
Your post was fascinating. Now I'm about to do a search to see what the Boeing Model 40 looked like.

Dragoneggs,
Your post was fascinating. Now I'm about to do a search to see what the Boeing Model 40 looked like.

In the 1970's I lived near an airport. One day a much larger than normal biplane flew over and landed. I went to look at it and walked all around. Later I found out it seemed to match a Boeing 40 or something substantially similar. Never have been sure.

Hey Bruce... nice find! I haven't seen those pics. Thank you. BUT you continue to derail the thread :D Although... the origin of the Model 40 and the pallet are suspiciously close timeline wise.

Biplanes and pallets have a similar "bi-plane" design.

sorry I was only using my hypotrochoids and epitrochoids to try and explain:ashamed:

I'm thinking'...

OK, let me expound on my previous post. For those who don't live near a military base. Every Marine vehicle and I think Army has the "pallets in field" emblem on the vehicle. The pic is of a Humvee.

I think there is some government involvement here!

Your theory is a "kissing cousin" of the "Caret Farm Symbol" theory that was proposed earlier.

Both theories suffer a fatal flaw. The pallet formations are earthbound and thus form triangles. Although you might claim that the pallets are merely resting after a long squawk, you need to provide photographic evidence of the pallets suspended in mid-air in order for your theory to be taken seriously by the scientific community.;)

Based upon the fact that military vehicles are painted in an "earth" color. it meets the requirement exactly.

Wow, excellent point! Until now, I've been watching from the sidelines. I'm now joining the military faction.

Somebody please track down BOB!!! There are now too many factions to follow. I, for one, have not jumped on any one of the theories yet, at least publicly (at least that I recall). That said, I suppose I did advance the alienist theory with speculation on Bob's disappearance. :D

The rapid growth of this "military" clique makes me skeptical of the scientific qualifications of its members.

As I demonstrated in my critique, the "military" theory is flawed.

The pictogram on the side of the military vehicle has but two sides, while the pallet formations are triangular, with the base of the triangle being formed by the earth. I used the term "earthbound" in my critique, which orezok misread, whether by mistake (which I doubt) or by design, as "earth brown."

Rather than accept my critique as constructive criticism, he has managed to dupe a gullible public by claiming that his theory is not flawed.

Absent photographic evidence of the pallets suspended in mid-air, the "military" theory must be dismissed as idle speculation.;)
