Using Pat's Easy Change

I bought a Speeco Quick Hitch. I wish I'd bought the Pat's instead just to be able to adjust the width to whatever I need.

Yep, I understand that frustration. That's why it's very important that all your attachments be alike in hookup design to use a QH. That's the number one reason users prefer Pat's, if they don't have the resources or skill to modify their attachments to a like standard.

I am not to concerned about your couplers . Watch them slopes , they will bite ya .

I've had a set of Pat's for the past year, not a perfect solution, but it makes switching implements a lot easier especially if you are doing it by yourself.

what I did was measure the distances between the pins on my implements
took the mean dim. and set my Pat's at that distance parallel to the centerline of the tractor
by doing this all my attachments fit
If your not parallel they will try to bind when bringing the arms up

mine work great and you have more room to attach your PTO than with a true quick-hitch

You'll find with most Quick Hitches and implements, the spacing of the lower links and implement pins isn't a problem. The upper link can be problematic, especially if the QH upper hook isn't adjustable.

Just saying be careful . Sound's like you are not real comfortable with what you are doing . A bump or hole on a slope is much different than level ground , did not mean to offend .

I am not real comfortable at times...and have called it quits more than once. There was usually a slope involved.
