Self propelled walk behind leaf blowers?

Just sold my little wonder 8HP leaf blower.I am looking at the self propelled walk behind Billy goat 9HP model as I have quite a few hills in my yard.Anyone have any feedback good or bad on the self propelled model leaf blowers?Thanks.

WHY the 13-18 hp over the 9hp model?This for residential use NOT commercial use.The 9hp should serve me well.

I dont have any experience with self-propelled blowers (I use an Agrimetal 3 point hitch blower and backpack blowers), but might recommend you look at the website of Wise sales in Illinois (Yamaha & Honda Generators, Power Equipment, and Toro Zero-Turns | Wise Sales). They sell an assortment of blowers, and it appears there is a big jump in price above 9 HP. They also have reviews on their blowers as well. A Billy Goat Subaru 9 HP self-propelled is $1539. I have a Billy Goat overseeder that is self-propelled and well-built. I love it. I also have found Wise sales to very consistently have competitive pricing, so much so that I no longer check anywhere else.

If you own an ATV or UTV and have lots of hilly property, I'd check out promanpto.com who has a hydraulic leaf and debris blower attachment. Looks interesting and pretty high powered.

To many low hanging branches in the yard to use my tractor with 3 point blower. My ag tires on my cab tractor would tear up my yard so 3pt. blower is out.

We use a 16hp self propelled walk behind blower for leaf cleanups. It is infinitely better than a push model. I still wish it were bigger. We do about 130 cleanups in a season.

What brand name do you have?I think I will go with billy goat 9hp ( Subaru)engine self propelled model.Mine will be for residential use.

Ended up buying the billy goat 9hp self propelled model yesterday.Heck of a blower.

I have a Billy Goat 9hp that is not self propelled, but I recently purchased the front caster wheel kit for it and mounted a trailer coupler so I can pull it with a ball on my garden tractor and still un hook it and use the blower by walking too. It works perfect. I have hills and stuff, which I thought would be a problem, but its not, and it is stable on the bills too.
