Does anyone know if there is a little bit larger Kubota compact tractor that will accept the BX backhoe?
good question. Not that I know of. the subframe seems too different to fit anything else.
Have you checked your hydraulic system pressure? Adjusting it to the top of the range might get you the extra height.Escavador,,,,,,you might be surprised...that I tested the BX24 to see how high it will lift a snowmobile on the brushfork; and it stalls at 4 feet high. Not high enough because I want to put my shelf at 5 1/2 or 6 feet high.
What about a hoist? Any chance of mounting one to the ceiling? And I agree you should check your relief valve setting. Could even tweak it a little and go above max spec' pressure (about 1800 psi IIRC) and see what that does for you.
The lack of discussion of it, (how to lengthen the stabilizers, gpm etc etc etc.) suggested that it's not being done. Thanks for the answer radioman!
The only way you can move BH from tractor to tractor is to buy the 3 pt version like from woods brand.
