i see the post didn't go were JJ thought it should. too many smiley faces maybee.
JJ should know by now that these forums work one the ouija board principle... the more you try to influence the outcome.. the more dismal your future becomes..
kinda like trying to freehand cut a straight line with a jigsaw...

Good Lord, I just found and read the 'Chit Chat' thread! (Why yes, I have been out of town for a few weeks. Lovely trip to the mainland to visit friends... but I digress... :laughing
I wouldn't want to be part of a site like that. Sometimes wandering a bit off topic sparks an idea or an explanation. Just like certain acronyms or terms that I'm either not familiar with OR that I am familiar with it but by a different term/word/acronym. For example: North American = "J-Cloth" / Aussie = "Chux".
(see how I craftily brought my post "back on subject"? JJ would be so proud!

I'm thinking the same thing.... Actually how many of our tractors say PTO at the lever to engage it.... or say (Power Take Off ) Perhaps go and take a look at the feature labels and read if many are abbreviated or are completely spelled out ,

I don't know, but my loader actually does say "FEL250" on it

I pulled out my Operator's Manual and the only place that spells out "Power Take Off (PTO)" is in the index, under 'P', at the back. Under 'R' it goes back to referring to "Rear PTO".
Mind you, once I learnt what PTO and other common abreviations stood for, I haven't gone back to calling it the Power Take Off.

There is one of those fitted to my old REO Speed Wagon, somedays my wheels won't turn, other days, wheels are turnin' and you can roll with the changes
