Thanks! I'm still a huge Kubota fan, but certain features of the JD SCUT over the Kubota SCUT closed the deal for me.

We have Kubotas largely because we are close to a good Kubota dealer who works hard to keep our business. My wife is a Deere nut, in fact, I asked her to marry me by hanging a sheet off the cab of a Deere at a farm show.

Hanging that sheet was innovative, but I have a question. Did you write your Proposal on the Sheet, or was the sheet intended as a "White Flag" of Surrender?

I didn't have enough cash to finance the down payment on the swather it was on, let alone buy it :laughing: fortunately the people running the Deere booth thought it was a great idea and helped me out (the guy in charge of the Deere booth is the guy with the white shirt walking out of the picture).

Changing tractors does happen. Thats why its not best to use a color or brand in your forum name. I owned a Ford 2N, then a 2 different Kubotas, my soninlaw who lives on the farm with us has a Ford 5000, and just today an International B414.
