Good afternoon. Lots of great posts in this forum. We currently have an Allis Chalmers B that I've got torn down. It needs more work than I have money/time to invest in it right now. We have a Ford 600 that just got put back together after a new clutch and front axle pin/bushing. Also have a Ford 3000 that I just rebuilt the PTO on as well as put in new pedal bushings. Have 2 old 5ft rotary cutters as well as a 6ft pull behind I picked up last weekend. Also have an old Ford sickle mower I just acquired and possibly and old M-F sickle mower coming next weekend. We mostly use our tractors now for cutting the weeds on our property. Both Fords have been down for going on 2 months and with all the rain down here the weeds are over head-high in places. I've been working the past 2 weeks to get them both going and now it looks like rain this weekend as well. Anyway, that's my introduction!

Glad you're here Robert....another Georgian...that's great, sounds like you are a skilled tractor mechanic...we can all learn from you...;)

I know just enough to be dangerous. ;-)

Greetings from NW Florida. We get over your way every few months to visit the wife's uncle. He is in Valdosta. Take your cell phone when you try to tackle those weeds. A fellow could get lost.

We run about 200 Boergoats on 100 acres and these guys eat everything. Cheaper than diesel and they taste better than lamb!

Trust me brother.. Goats are definitely part of the plan! Just gotta clean up enough to get it fenced! We only have 32 acres though.

Welcome. Must have missed this thread last month. You're right up the road from me. I live in the Sylvester/Doerun area. Doerun address, but more towards Sylvester. I used to be stationed at Moody in Valdosta when I was in the Air Force. My wife and her family is from Valdosta so we go through Hahira a lot to get there. I've got a Ford 3000 also. Maybe I can drop it by some time on my way through, it needs some PTO and clutch work also .

Oh no! I have enough fun working on mine! My property/tractors are actually in Berrien county if you're familiar with that area. Planning on building a house on the new property as soon as I can.
