As far as the wine issue: What those doing "studies" fail to realize, is that in plants, wines, etc., sometimes it is more than one ingredient, working synergistically, that is giving the benefits. Of course, pharmaceutical companies want to find one active ingredient and try to patent it and then sell it. I'd be willing to bet that there are 100 individual components that give wine its health benefits. Trying to single out one, will give less than good results when tested, and might even show the one ingredient is hazardous, when not combined with the others.

Here's rain....had this happen twice yesterday within two hours...a near vertical downpour that left 3/4" each time. I am just SICK of it...

Whichever one I enjoy drinking the most! Red wines have more sulfites, and cause more headaches, in susceptable individuals. I enjoy a really good Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, or a nice imported German Riesling. All have benefits in my opinion!

A good friend went through the breast cancer battle. Her oncologist said she could have a glass of wine, each evening, should she choose to. She is now cancer free, for 7 years, and probably had a glass of wine, more evenings than not, as long as the chemo didn't have her stomach too upset.
