Tractor
Several, all used and abused.

While in Turkey last month, I saw tons of tractors all over the place. Lots of farming going on, but they where also pretty common on the roads. Some where pulling trailers, but others looked like people where just driving them around like a car. Here is the best picture that I was able to get from the tour bus.

Cool picture...The title makes an intriguing outlet for photoshop artists...

Must be some gimmick to it. Licensing, fuel taxes, insurance, or whatever. Or, maybe they are farmers who cannot afford a vehicle and a tractor?

There was a lot of farming there!!!! Everyone seemed to be out working the fields, but there where also quite a few tractors in town. I just thought it was a little different.

Looks like a tractor dealer in the middle of a city. Pretty funny.

While in the USAF I spent a couple of years at Incirlik Air Base near Adana, Turkey (southern middle of the country near the Med.). In that area you were considered affluent if you could afford a car; many folks used tractors for everyday transportation. I saw some folks who had only a horse cart and lived in tents made of plastic bags. Many had less than that. This was early eighties, I doubt anything has changed at all.

....and John Deere compact tractor hydraulics have been coming from Turkey for more
than 10 years (HEMA).

We hope to make it to Istanbul in the next 5 y or so. I hear it's a fun trip.

I developed training courses for Turks who were building sections of the F-16 fighter jet. When they came to Fort Worth for training, I wrote task guides and also taught many electrical certification classes to Turks. The engineers and supervisors in the factory were in a higher economic class. They told me that on weekends in Turkey, the farmers came to town and rode elevators up and down in high-rise buildings for entertainment. I guess that was their version of Disneyland.

Nice pictures and story. That is kind of weird with all the tractors in town.

While you were there did you see any of these, national dog of Turkey?

Eddie posted a pic at the start of this thread of an Antonio Carrera tractor dealership. They specialize in small articulated tractors that are used in vineyards on hills and in orchards. Their supposedly great tractors but I have never needed one or even seen one here in my area of the US.

They have them here in CA. These articulated tractors are compact in size, but often run north of 100hp.
One example of where you can't always compare tractors by hp.

Yeah, we use a lot of horsepower in the vineyards but need it in a small tractor. Those tractors are better suited for vineyards on hillsides.
