No not really. I'll just casually mention about my H. A. then the next time about getting off my meds, then he'll see me speeding on the elliptical, then I casually mention about a special diet that's hard but worth it - he'll be hounding me for info........

Sad thing is, when we are young we want to be older..."I wanna be 16 so I can drive, I wanna be 21 so I can drink," and by the time you get to be 29 you begin wishing you were younger.

Drinking age was 18 when I turned 18, and I was over 21 when it was raised to that age. So, I cried when I hit 20, because there were no more teens, and I was getting OLD. The first time I was carded to check ID to make sure I was legal drinking age, I was 25. I scared the poor clerk at the store, because I reached over the counter and kissed him!

I'd love to go back and have the body and energy I had at age 17, but sure wouldn't want to have to go back though the University of Hard Knocks again. I like the knowledge I have now, but the rest of me wants to try to fall apart!

Happy birthday, David. My youngest daughter's birthday is April 18th (6 years younger than you) and one of my granddaughter's is April 23rd. Now, I'll never forget your birthday because yours is a week after my daughters. Don't hold your breath for any gifts though. . . Good luck with your continued efforts to keep your family together and also good luck with your sales proposal.

It was 42 F here at 6 AM and is now up to 45 F and very still out; a beautiful morning. I have lots of chores to do today. I just need to finish a couple without being distracted by all the others.

I see the long range summer weather forecast is calling for warmer than average temps, except for a circle around the Great Lakes, which are to be cooler than average.

Most of Texas is predicted to be much warmer than average, but they say not as hot as last year. So Jim, now you can decide on your replanting. :laughing:

I'm off the to recycle center with a load of scrap metal this morning.

Mostly sun today with a high of 20C/68F. Cut the back lawn yesterday for the 6th time. Some of the other lawns around the shop I haven't even done once, however that looks like it is going to change soon as it is starting to get fairly long.
