buying used 2011 bx2660

Been on fence and worrying to death about buying a used 2011 BX2660 with only 125 hours. With loader and belly mower. Excellant condition. The price is $12,400. From what I have found this is almost an unbelievable deal. What do you guys think? The seller says the tractors don't have titles. Is that true? Very sceptical?? Am I crazy for thinking like this?

I paid $14,500.00 for my 2010 BX2660, it was new. Has loader, midmount mower, and 2 sets of hyd. remotes. Price seems about right to me.

The price sounds in the ball park to me. Have you looked a new one? They will do 0% APR for 60 months or if you are paying cash they have some rebates.

Sounds good to me. My BX2660, 2009 with about 350 hrs with FEL + MMM + Tooth bar sold for $12,000 last year.

Forgot to address the issue of titles, no they don't have titles. When I buy a used tractor I get a bill of sale and be sure there is no loan outstanding on it. Also year of manufacture is mostly irrelevant, condition and hours are what to consider.

I saw a add on cragslist for a BX25 for a$3500. I knew it was fake but I emailed about it to see what kind of story I would get. It was a woman in florida that owned it. She got the tractor in the divorce. She had the title to it but she did not have a drivers licence so she could not drive it, that is why she was selling it.

I think that is a fair price. You will like the 2660. Depending upon your resources, and as all ready pointed out, looking at the new unit with financing may be a good option. What you do not say is what you intend to use this tractor for. I love my 2660, but kinda wish I had gotten a B. Is it the right tractor for you?

The price is good assumming the mower deck and FEL is as new as the tractor. As already stated, no title on these things, the BX is not even street legal, at least not in R.I. If you are financing I would consider new a 0% however.

I bought a 2012 2660 less than a year ago new with mmm and loader with0% and it was 15,700 out the door. 15000 if you didn't use the financing. The r4 tires are a bit aggressive, I might need to get turfs of use something else to mow. If I don't mow with it I would probably move up to a B. something o think about.
