I wondered if wd-40 or a silicone spray or dry graphite lubricant would help. Thanks for the tip I'm sure this dealer is going to prep everything but I'll check that for sure. Great idea on the dolly I think I'll make one for both the BH and FEL. That would be a good first project for my pile of new tools.

Nice! Looks like you'll be setup well. If you build a FEL dolly please post the plans, I rarely take mine off, but it would be nice to stow it away when I do. Not sure what kind of work you'll do with the tractor, but my favorite attachment is a wallenstein BX42 wood chipper, I use it a ton and in the winter to clear snow a 6' rear blade lets me do a lot without having to buy a snow blower or plow. Sounds like you got a good price too.

I have been looking at wood chippers because I'm going to have a LOT of limbs and brush to deal with but they are not cheap. Dealer says they sell a 5" that works well with this tractor. But we are allowed to heap brush into a pile and burn it here so I may opt for that instead. No snow here to speak of I think we had 1 inch all winter. Phase 1 I need to clear brush and small trees from 1 acre, then dig and move a bunch of dirt from point A to point B, level and landscape. Its a new house so there's no yard yet and the builder did minimal grading.

I'm thinking it will be easier to remove the FEL for mowing? Should be able to build a dolly for it no problem and I have cad/cam software so I'll probalby draw up plans.

Removing the FEL on these things is extremely easy, it is the same on the BX up to the M Series. I can have them off in well under five minutes. I have taken mine off a couple of times a day. It is easier on a solid flat surface, but I ave done it on the dirt and gravel, just takes a little more practice.
