Well according to my wife, my activity last weekend of removing the sub-frame and plow from the Bota , as well as lubing the blower for storage has caused this next storm to form! I told her it meant more seat time and I think she figures that means placing her foot on more of my seat....expecting over a foot tonight thru Wednesday and they are talking about another storm on Friday. Think I am getting tired of winter!! Boat comes out of storage on 4/2 although I may have to shovel it out and use an ice auger to go fishing.

We have lots of mud here, we didn't have any snow.

I thought we were done as well. 5-9" for me and maybe on Friday. Ice fishing is fun.........

We are due to get 8 to 12 tonight. I spent the morning putting the chains and plow back on. This sucks!!! I want to get the Vette back on the road.

Mid '70's here in Ms. What is this thing called "snow" you write about? :)

I can remember shoveling something white in May in Burlington, but I try to forget.

Getting it hear too, had the backhoe on this weekend and started on spring chores and some digging, now back to the snow removal gear!

I hear the Southeast may be looking at a storm coming in Sunday and Monday. That's pretty far off though.

We had the perfect snow storm this weekend: 4-6" on the grass and hillsides, zero accumulation on the driveway and roads! :) Very pretty, well behaved white stuff!

I have neverr seen the weather people so confused, our weaher here in south east is showing snow wensday clear thrusday snow friday and mix rain and snow saterday. they said last nigt they were just not sure what to expect. they were saying that there is 3 systems out there and they don't know what any of them are going to do. it's possible we could get some form of falling weather wensday friday thru tuesday.

Maybe we will be able to just drive over those 12" without plowing and it will melt! And we just lost most of the snow with last weeks rain!
I hope the ground stays frozen while I clear it- so easy to strip the gravel off of my roadways.

1/2 hour to go according to accuweather before the snow starts falling.......

Just 1" of wet stuff here near the CT coast - not gonna bother with it. Should melt by the end of the day I think. Anyway, the local weather guys/gals are saying that we've been in this pattern of storms every 3-4 days due to the North Atlantic Oscillation. Apparently, there's a big blocking high pressure system sitting in the North Atlantic and the jet stream is tracking through the mid atlantic states (VA, MD, etc.) and up the East coast and around the top of the NAO.

No sign of a change in the pattern at this time. I think we've been in this same basic system since early Feb. when we got that huge blizzard. It was OK back then, but now I want to get out side and start cleaning things up for Spring. Too much mud and general wetness here. This is the part of winter I hate the most - when you're almost to Spring, but winter won't give up. Gray after gray day with rain/snow every 3 or 4 days, and an occasional sunny one thrown in as a teaser. :(

First plowing done without too much damage to the gravel drive! Looks like another 6 or inches before winding down.

Here it just began snowing lightly about 10 minutes ago- was to have started by 8:00 am. Sometimes storms are just late to arrive!

Bout 7-8" here so far. Can't see the neighbors house right now. I was raking the sticks out of the lawn yesterday .....

I'm all about buying Spring.
Sold all my Winter last week.
We got 4" on the grass and 1 to 2" of slop on the driveway.
Too soggy for the paddle blower.
Not enough to drop the 3 point forks and hitch up the rear blade.
Gave up and used the shovel.
