Just got my new Miller Dynasty 200 DX with foot control Contractor's Kit. Reallllly nice! I was thinking about building my own cooler but I'm going to push some tungsten for awhile and see how hot things get in Aluminum.

Oh you're gonna love that machine!
I built one years ago for my Miller 330A/BP. Back then, (before Internet) it was hard to find a low pressure high volume pump. I had a bunch of 10-GA stainless steel that I used.

Thanks SA,
I've been lusting after one for a long time and I finally got a great deal on it, dropped shipped from Miller. Now I have to get it set up for multiple plugs and figure out some kind of fume extractor to run the air outside which shouldn't be too hard. I hear guys use bathroom exhaust fans.

great machine! When I got mine I couldn't belive how much I remembered about tig welding.
The 17 size air cooled torch has served me well so far. Very happy with it. If you intend to do any tig welding and you're not an expert, look for weldingtipsandtricks on youtube.

And get some 2% lanthanated tungsten.

Oh man you got a nice machine. Mine has over 2000 hours on it and its still like new. If it quit tomorrow I'd go get another. I bought the Coolmate 3 and built the cart. Fantastic unit. I did make one change. I put the multi voltage plug on mine which is really handy for those road trips. I can switch the 220 volt plug over to the 110 plus in 15 seconds.
Enjoy your new unit.

You made that cart?! OMG, that has to be the slickest cart I've ever seen in my life. You sure turn out some beautiful work! I think it's your attention to the little details that is so impressive to me.

Thanks Guys!

SA, I'll check out the NH vent link. Thanks

4Shorts I saw the video on You Tube! Love it!!

I've been watching Jody for about a month or so and bought a couple of his Tig Fingers. Also I've been collecting Tig rod and consumables while saving up for the welder. I've got some 2% lanthanated in 1/16 and 3/32, also some ceriated, new Tig gloves, 308 SS, 309 SS, 70s -2, 4043 and 5356. (I may not come out of the shop until August!)
I've done a lot of O/A so I think I should be OK doing Tig with a little practice. I might sell my spool gun and the Miller 210 so I can move up to a 252 at some point. I have a tri-gas 'B' bottle I use for stainless that I think I'll trade for another 100% Argon. I never liked doing aluminum or stainless on the spool gun, you need to vary amps on those metals to really do it right.

Thanks guys. Ya I actually made the cart before I had the Dynasty. I had it ordered but had a running start on the cart by the time it arrived. I needed something that could hold a large bottle, hold filler rods, hold the cooler and had a storage unit in it and there was nothing available so I went out to the shop one evening after work and started building it. I had nothing in mind at the time and my wife asked me what I was planning and i said I didn't know but it would come to me when I started in. It sort of evolved over the month it took to complete working on it after hours. I built the Miller trailer around that time as well. Out of all my welding gear the Dynasty is the biggest money maker and just a great machine.
Thanks again guys :)
