I have a bx 2360 and mow about 5 acrs. Really getting bad about having sun lesions removed because of all the sun. Doctor said it all started " when I was young and foolish." I really want to buy a sun canopy for my mower. I have read on here about a number of them but still not sure which to buy because of size. Have read about tufftop and the fiberglass ones. Just makes me more undecided. Can anyone please give recommendations. Thank You

Just about everyone I know has a fiberglass top. They aren't cheap but sure beats skin cancer.

I would look at Tel Trax. They are close to us, but only sell through dealers. I bought one for my Kioti 45 after talking to owner who guaranteed towing at 65 MPH. I have done that plus more many times with it. I also pull it on trailer not backed on. I put front and rear lights, fan, and stereo system on mine. There is a disadvantage when you need to get in low ceiling height places. I went without one for years because of that. When its all said and done I would not consider mowing in 95 + heat without it. tractor att 012.jpgtractor att 011.jpgtractor att 010.jpg

Looks like yours is metal. What kind of price are they?
Thanks

I paid $ 485.71 for it. Aluminum looks good with orange. Plus I have hit a lot of trees and limbs. As a ex owner of large collision repair shop. Aluminum is much easier to repair than Fiberglass or SMC by average person.

Have to disagree with this...but I guess it depends on who is doing the repair...

I get the aluminum simply because I have aluminum weld shop down road for quick fixes.

I buy mine from Barlows, Fiberglas around $350. I did make one out of PVC pipe and clamped it to the roll bar and covered it with canvas on one for cheap.

I've been extremely happy with my Sun Guard canopy (BX2660). It was very easy to install, provides lots of shade, has performed well for a couple of years, and is orange.

I have noticed Sun Guard is smaller then most . Does it still cover good?

Thanks. Wish some of the companies would sell to people rather then having to go through the dealer...

Sunguard is the one that is smaller 37 x 45 . Worried it won't be big enough. Does it cover good. Anyone have anything to say about Tufftop........

Wide brim hat, long sleeve shirt, gloves---until you get that canopy.

Think I am going with the Tel-trax alum. one. It would have to be harder to mess up then fiberglass. Found one at a dealer about 30 miles away.
