Since it was in the 20s all night, the snow coming down this morning is all powder - but only 1". I'm still glad I cut and stacked another load of firewood yesterday...plus more snow promised for Friday.

2" of powder, 15 degrees, going to 27 with 20-30 mph winds, then 4" tomorrow. I hate snow! At least I got my tractor home. It's supposed to be 64 next Wednesday, now that there Clark is what I call winter!

So according to my daughter who txt'd me pics, at home there is "nigh unto 2" of snow" which she corrected to just over an inch, and it is 20 degrees.

In Reston which is near the airport I need to land at tomorrow night, it is 18 and snowing now.

Here in Denver it is 33 and clear right now.

We drive to a parking lot on US side of boarder. Then walk across bridge. No projects planed for today. Neighbor got his roof finished.

I need it Randy. I'm supposed to land at Dulles at about 11pm, by the time I get luggage etc. I will be driving home (about 80 miles) at midnight, in the snow, with my 2wd F-150 and the rear has no weight, and the tires are almost bald.

Gonna be a GOOD TIME! :confused2:

We had the Skywarn spotter class last night at out county VFD meeting. I had a one in 30 chance in winning an "official" rain gauge but I didn't, so now I will have to buy one like this ($27.75)

good morning 20 degrees wind chill 11 got some strong winds weather says more snow on the way friday this iss the craziest weather i got up this morning at 3 am the dog was barking let her outside the temp was 32 i thought what is going on the weather showed us to be 17 degrees got up later about 6:30 it was 23 and now it's 20 none of these numbers are close to what our forcast says

Roy---MINUS 17 DEGREES !!!??? It's a toasty 3 above zero here right now and we got two inches of new powder snow last night. Finally got the issue of the deed resolved so the place is in my name now, when I built on and remodeled I purchased Schlage locks for the doors in part because they can be rekeyed with a simple $14 kit that will do six locks. Did that yesterday upon learning deed transfer had been completed. Glad I don't have to go anyplace today, enjoy your Thursday everyone.

Don, from some of these temperatures they are throwin' around here, that rain gage would be a busted ice gage. Does anybody make a freeze-proof rain gage?
