Paul, great video of snow removal and scenery of the beautiful Rock! Snow looked heavy when you were using the blower, very concentrated throw pattern. Did you hit something under the snow at 11:50? I hate that when it happens, always afraid of something breaking... loved seein' da big boats in your yard and at the fed buildin, too!

Great video Even with all your nice equipment, I don't think I would like to live there. Maybe a visit in the summer would be ok!!!!!!!!Keep up the good work and remember if it was easy and fun, everyone would want to do it.

It was great fun watching your video, owning the same tractor, seeing it push through that heavy
snow. Super video. And with that amount of wind, that snow had to be wet to come out of your chute like that,
meaning it was heavy stuff.

Nice lobsterboat with the red hull. What's the story on that? Looked rather forlorn in a wintry wonderland.
That much wet snow can do a lot of damage, hope your place was unharmed. Drew

Great videos Paul! I noticed that you still drive with your flashers on, even with all of your safety lighting. Personally, I found it less confusing for other motorist if I left my flashers off while using my safety lights. That way my blinkers are more obvious when turning or making lane changes. Just an observation. I'm with you on safety first though. Keep it up!

Sorry for taking so long to respond to the thread. Today is my birthday and the wife and I spent the day in the city.
Ya I still use the flashers on the road. If I got it, I use it. I don't use the large LED lights on the road because there're just to bright. Seems everyone with backhoes around here use there flashers so not wanting to be different I use mine  the signal lights will bypass the flashers anyways so it don't matter much.

Do you ever get tired from all of the seat time?:confused3:

Oh never. I wish I had more time than I get. This tractor is parked for at least eight months of the year and only used for snow clearing. :(

The wife and I enjoyed watching part two of your video, thanks for the great tips on plowing as well. I love your camera setup, just like being in the cab with you minus the bumps! :D Just back in from final clean-up, the rain sure took its' share of the snow. Oh well, just makes room for more! :cool2:

Thanks my buddy. It was a bit of a rush job on the videos but at least I offered up something. It's been a very busy few days as you know and tomorrow it will be the same with repairs in the shop and then back in the tractor to move snow. Hope to see you around this week. Great to have some seat time wasn't it? The snow took a big hit today with the mild temps.

Thanks for sharing the great ride along. :)

Thanks Thomas. Really pleased you enjoyed it

Oh man. This was the worst snowfall I've seen in a long time. It was water logged. The snow blower became useless after awhile because the snow was so heavy and wet. It got o bad the blade had to come off and the bucket had to be used. Oh ya I hit the edge of the pavement. I was going to edit it out but decided to leave it in just to show the realities of plowing snow. That's the stuff that keeps you awake watching my boring videos  The boat belongs to a fishery officer. He's rebuilding it for himself. I have many hours on it myself helping him with the mechanical, welding, fabrication and machining.

Great videos, thanks for sharing

Thanks Don. Glad you enjoyed watching them

Oh man I love it here. Your only seeing the worst of times because of the snow learning vids. Go back to YouTube and look at my motorcycle videos and you'll see that it looks very much different than in a snow storm. Low crime rate, booming economy and the nicest people on earth. Love it

Thanks Drew. Ya it was a crazy few days. The winds actually shook the tractor. The snow was the heaviest I've ever seen but the money is nice when the now falls. As I said above. The boat belongs to a friend of mine. He's Ben restoring it for a few years now and its just about ready to be out in the water. I've done a lot of work on it with him but boats scare me to death. It might look big on that parking lot but it will look nothing when it sits in the North Atlantic.

Thanks varmint. Some how these iPads also fool up a link. Appreciate you correcting it for me. Great to know you got my back  oh. The LED lights worked out great. They were just hot enough that the snow didn't stay on them.

We had 120 plus kph winds. 50-70 cm's of snow then later in the day started to drizzle. I seen drifts up to five feet high. Spent almost nine hours in the seat and heading out again tomorrow :cool2:

I am so jealous.

Happy birthday Paul ! Great videos ! We are 40f at 10pm, classic January thaw I guess. I haven't even had the blower on the tractor this year,or last year either for that matter ! Have you looked at the Nokian TRI 2 tractor snow tires? They look like the would be the cat's meow for your setup.

Is that a rear view camera on your dash? If so what model and how do you like it?

There's a lot of places not getting any snow. I'd even like to see more.

Hope you had a great birthday. What city did you go to?

I had a great day. Thanks. Talked to my two military sons on the phone and that was the high light of my day. Me and my wife went to St,John's to a movie which is an hours drive from our home. My older brother dropped by and we talked for a few hours then there were the birthday greetings on Facebook and friends calling the house. I'm truly blessed. :)

Happy Birthday, Bye!!! Hope ya had a good one!!!

By The Lord tundderin. What a day I had me son.

Thanks my friend. It's warm enough here to go outside with a t shirt on and no wind. Crazy weather everywhere!
I haven't seen anyone using those tires around but they do look nice

Yup, the Boyd Coddington of the tractor scene. Could happen.

No...no...no...Bondo Boyd Coddington was an arrogant hack; Paul is a craftsman and then some.

That was one he!! of a nasty storm. I'm glad that kind of dump is rare where I live.

Happy Birthday!

Ah Matt. Your way to kind my buddy. That type of snowfall is rare around here as well thank God.
Appreciate the birthday wish. I figure one more year and the wife will have to cut my head off and count the rings to get my actual age

Sounds like if you hadn't plowed and blown the snow, it would be gone today, anyway... that happens. 6o degrees down here today- just not right for the middle of the winter. By the way, I wasn't me who fixed the link to part two of your videos... I found my way in thru YouTube, but I didn't go back and post anything. I feel bad that I was too lazy, now. Just my two bits worth, but for me, your panorama camera actually isn't a good as the regular camera you used for videos before- somehow, it takes in too much scenary, which detracts from the video- if any of that makes sense. But no matter, we like seeing you and your tractor in action. Especially those of us down here where it doesn't snow anymore.

Since this was such an impressive storm to you 4shorts, let me ask if you got any of the Great Maine- Quebec ice storm of the late 1990's? We were in Maine at the time and it was maybe two feet of snow-cone-looking ice that first started as just rain before it froze and then the ice stuck to the trees. Just between my house and town there must have been 3000 trees on the power lines. Power was out for nearly everyone and it stayed out for two weeks, or longer, for lots of people. The "snow" weighed a ton and it took me all day just to try--try-- to plow out around the house and barn. Parts of the storm were headed your way and I always wondered how far they made it. Did you get that storm?
