Congrats LD. I hope things work out. I work that 2wk on/2wk off schedule too. Ilike it.
If the hotel rooms have a fridge and mwave you can save more too.
Have fun working your concrete today and it looks like warmish weather is on your side for a few days.

great news. So much attention to the negative, awesome when someone gets where they want to be.
And as for your garage contents, I expect to see a little ad on TBN for

and sprockets, pulleys, etc.
Good deal!! I love the 4 0n 3 off-3 0n 4 off shift, 12 hrs is great if you enjoy the job your doing.
First let me congratulate you on your new job and hope it is all that you want it to be.That is what I was working. And yes, I did love it. New schedule is going to be a 2-2-3 type deal. Every other weekend off. A little different, but VERY similar.
On a side note....Concrete drys REAL SLOOOWW on a wet 60 degree January day.:mur: Last truck rolled out at about 11:15 this morning. And it is STILL to wet to even run a bull float over it:confused3:
Im so happy you got a good job LD1 ... and no pay downtime is a bonus! Setting up that new shop will be an adventure.
,,,Sounds like you got a good residual from the old place. An opportunity to dream of.
,,,,,,,,,Keep that concrete surface wet and double tarp it on board slats to keep the heat in
,,,,, when it gets cold.
Congratulations!

Yes, no down time is great. Actually works out well cause our "actual" severance amount amounted to about 3 months of pay. Boy uncle sam is going to love me this year![]()

Congrats LD1, Who did you get a job with?
