Kubota M96S

Hello everyone, first post!

I'm in the game for a new tractor and have taken an interest in the Kubota M96S Mudder (the one with the really tall tires and flush wheels). Anyone have any experience with this tractor?

How does it compare with the NH TD5050 high clearance and the JD5095MH (I believe that's JD's offering to the High Clearance arena).

I'm leaning heavily towards the orange but just figured I'd toss it out there. It seems the Kubota has the highest clearance and I'm seeing a lot f them around.

I can't answer any of your questions but I think that tractor is based off a M9540.

Pretty sure that is incorrect. Comparing 4x4 ROPS models, the 96S is 1,900#'s heavier, has 7.3" longer wheel base and is 13" wider than a 9540. They do share the same 3.8L four cylinder engine.

And they lift both lift 4630 on the 3PH. I can see the 96S being heavier, wider and a having a longer wheel base cause they probably use different axles.
