New to the site, I have a JD 1530 and wondering if a 10ft wheel disk is to large for my tractor before I purchase. thanks for any response and help.

You can probably do OK with that disc in dry soil. I have a 13-ft wheel disc that I cut down to about 9 ft and pull it OK in dry soil with my 2008 Mahindra 5525 (55 hp engine, 45 hp pto, 2WD, 8F/2R manual tranny, about 6500 lb weight).
