B2630 vs B3030?

I'll make this real easy.... The B2630 was discontinued several months ago.

So this has changed since you posted in March that it wasn't being discontinued?

Well I always recommend getting the most HP in a size class. If money is the issue then go to the B3200, same size less some niceties. And if you are worried about the B being too small then go to an L.

Seems like I am swimming upstream trying to get a 30 series. Don't want to go larger to the Ls so may have to give up on position control and get a B3200/

Can't speak to the comparison but you describe conditions similar to my NC property - have you considered a B26 TLB? For trail cutting, gravel drive maintenance, logging and general work around the property I couldn't do without the backhoe. You pay a bit more but the B26 is bullet proof and although small, has the hydraulic pump to effectively handle the backhoe. Besides the mandatory assist the BH gives digging rocky soil, it provides an adjustabe counter wt. needed to work on a slope or carrying a big load on the FEL that I couldn't do without. I run a rear grading blade and a rotary tiller and can drop the BH for the 3PT setup in about 10-15 minutes. Interestingly, bought it used with R1's on the rear and R4's on the front and have found a number of instances where the diff lock and extra bite in the rear came in handy.

Ended up with a B3200; after 6.5 hours on the meter I am pretty satisfied. The dealer threw a set of telescoping stabilizers from a 3030 and a quick hitch I may sell to buy the PEC system. When setup correctly the QI valve is ok for my use. Now just have to get the rear remotes and TnT setup.
