I would tell you how much RimGuard it would take... But the chart doesn't go down to tiny tires... If it took $800 to foam your 18x8.5-10 tires... you could have them both filled with RimGuard for less than $20 .

Yes but at average of 4-5 flats/ year and this year I used them up at the beginning it was getting costly fixing the flats and getting refilled every time that's why I opted for the foam, one fill and then forget about leaks.

Also in this area only the calcium chloride is offered for ballast, I had to send the tires away to get them foam filled. Plus the weight with the foam is way more than the weight of the calcium chloride (I measured both)

Inconvenient I'm sure... But I can fix a Lot of flats for the $780 difference...
With RimGuard you can repair a leak easily...
" Most minor punctures in tubeless tires can be fixed by plugging the hole just like a car tire. First, rotate the hole to the top and remove the object that caused the puncture. Next, follow the instructions on the plug kit. Do not continue to operate the tractor on a soft tire. You will risk breaking the bead away from the rim and losing all of the Rim Guard."

I do appreciate foam filled tires, in places that you will be sure to get punctures continuously... I just would not consider foaming tires just for ballast ... KennyV

Re: foam fill

The correct foam (soft durometer) should ride like an air filled tire, if filled correctly).

I'd be happy to give you an idea what you cost should to foam fill your tires,
then you can search for local dealer.

What is the approximate price...
RimGuard is about 11 pounds per gallon and will cost less than $3 a gallon... anyone with any tire size can easily figure the approximate cost & end weight because it is easy to arrive at the gallons any particular tire will hold.

So what is the 'approximate' weight and price per gallon for foam? KennyV
