I just stumbled onto this as I just got my new 5045E as well. I have the top exhaust and can't get it in my garage! I may have to go with the under exhaust but was thinking, I wonder if there is a way to cut the stack and use some sort of adapter or something to put it back on when you use it.. I probably just need to build a bigger garage or shed!
