New guy from Gilroy

Hello from the Garlic Capital of the World,

I'm a city boy that's moved to the country. Kind of F-Troop comes to Green Acres .

I've working with a Kubota B-1700, but have three project tractors: Cat D-2, Kubota L245DT, & Allis Chalmers Model B.

The D-2 is at the top of my project list, as I have lots of sloping ground to clear.

Howdy, neighbor. Stay away from the garlic ice cream....

For Indian M/C fans, these machines were made in Gilroy for a few years, but now
Indian is owned by Polaris, and they are made in Iowa. A few years ago,
I would see new Indian M/Cs driven around Morgan Hill with "factory test driver"
vests on their riders.

Oh, yeah, those Indians. When I moved here the plant was in full swing. Six years later, they've knocked down the building and cleared the lot. Maybe we can visit the plant in Iowa on the way to Sturgis.
