Two Hats and a drawbar !!! :-)

Well I stopped in and signed all the papers today and they delivered my 5045E to my dooryard. While I was there they gave me my choice of two JD Hats and threw in a Cat 2 3PH draw bar ,a cat one hitch pin. A set of Cat 2 to Cat 1 bushings and a hand full of hitch clips. The tank was full of fuel also so I have to give my dealer an attaboy for closing a deal gracefully. I know no pictures and it didn't happen so my mission tomorrow is to get some posted. SWMBO has already put one up on face book but I was in it so I think the camers is now broke.:thumbdown:
Already wacked down a couple of acres of weeds and brush, All working fine as expected.

Hi

They "threw in a Cat 2 3PH draw bar, a cat one hitch pin", but you had to choose what one of two JD hats you could have? Those hats must be expensive

Darn, I've bought John Deere and Kubota both and still haven't got a hat.

I can identify with your concern. I have 5 more payments and then my payment book will be empty. My wife and I have watched our pennies and hopefully all will be better by Christmas. Wishing you the same.

Oh I want nothing better then having it all paid for. That equals freedom. I couldn't resist the zero percent interest with the price not being jacked up as far as I can tell. If inflation hits in a big way which I expect is a 70/30 shot then I will be paying it off with dollars that come a lot cheaper then they do now.
I thought it was the best conditions to buy a tractor I had seen in thirty years. If you had the cash flow or work in front of the tractor that is.

We got 3 hats and a nearly empty fuel tank with the 5065M. I wonder if JD still sends out the letter wanting to know what type of owners hat you want? Wife picked a pink one with the X720, had owner on the side.

They do. I got my letter last week for the 5085M I just recently purchased. I went with the green had over the pink one.

My M came with a full tank of fuel, 52 gallons worth! I did pick it up myself instead of having them delivery it.

I suppose that a full tank of fuel might cost as much as $400 on a really big Ag tractor but what is that as a percentage of the bottom line? I expect any dealer that plans to be around for resales and upgrades will want to leave a good taste in the mouth of the purchaser and not set his most recent sale on a quest for some other dealer that is more friendly .
