There is a lot more weight on the steer axle than I thought. This is with the Jeep in the back. I'm betting we'll be over 28K with all our junk in it.

Thats heavy. My boat is 15,600# with the fuel, water, and junk in it like I tow it. Actually, you are a little heavier. I have about 1,500# of tongue weight, Bumper Pull, on my F-350. My truck weighs 7,600# so that puts me at 23,200#.

What does your Dodge weight empty?

I have pulled up to 33,000# CGVW with my truck and its a load.

I need to weigh the truck itself. I always thought it was around 8500 but I need to scale it to be sure.

7,460 lbs just on the truck's rear axle? Wow, looks like it's sitting pretty good considering.
I bet the diesel engine and front bumper guard alone are more than half the weight on that front axle. :D
What a setup!

I'll say it again - that is a heck of a setup.

Where I am, the Green Bears (transport police) would get pretty excited seeing that rolling down the road. I would need valid commercial stickers, and would have to know exactly what the GCWR is.

Have fun with it, know you will.

That is a great looking rig you got there...
Most guys I know with F350 pull loads grossing up to 24-26K with no problems...
You are gonna be in the 33K range and you will certainly know it's back there...
Good luck and give us a towing report...
