I am not sure if I have a quick attach on my loader. Is this one? Quick attach.JPG

Lift that lever up(it should stay unlocked, but mine kept falling down due to vibration, so I drilled a hole in the end and attached a short bungee to keep it "up")

Then just set the implement on the ground nice and level and the plates unhook themselves as you continue to lower.

Yes, the QA is the most useful option on any tractor these days:thumbsup:

Also keep it lubed, I use Fluid Film, as it seems to attract less dirt, and check the bolt that is the axle for the handle, mine worked loose, fortunately I found it before it fell out. You will learn pretty quickly how to hook up and disengage. One thing I have found for attachments that are a little tight, (like my forks) I stop after I get the top of the forks hooked up and go to operate the handle, to leave the attachment a couple of inches off of the ground, and step on the attachment, this puts my considerable weight on it and makes it just a little easier to operate the handle into the locked position, as it puts some pre-load on the attachment in the downward direction. As for hookup, I put it in LO range, throttle down, and lean out to the right to be able to see the right hand side of the right QA pad. Move tractor to just clear the right hand side, with the top of the pad several inches lower than the top channel and the pad angled forward some. If the right hand side is good the left will normally take care of itself. Check that both pads are hooked under the channel, and rotate back (curl) and lift. Set Brake, get off and step on attachment, and operate the handle to the locked position. Go have fun! For you guys that have been doing this for years, sorry about the instruction book, but I figured it might help some.

Thanks for the information..Am I left with the "tool carrier" on the loader after I take off the bucket? I am only switching between one or two implements and it would be great if the "tool carrier" stayed on for use on the other implement.

Tool Carrier???? Maybe you have something I don't or something. Can you put up a picture of the carrier?

I have a picture at the top. I think they call it a tool carrier in my loader manual. The manual is written in a form of Korean/English combination.

Okay, my bad, I didn't know the correct name for it was tool carrier ( I have always thought it was called a Quick Attach) - I was thinking you meant a place to put tools like a toolbox. The only thing that will come off will be the bucket itself.

I had an interesting thing happen with my quick attach on my Kioti the other day. I was working on digging up some stump and a big root came up between the bucket and the loader arm crossbar and hit the release handle just right to open it up. couldn't do it again if I tried

You might not be able to do it again if you try but it will happen again sometime if you are rooting around in brush. I welded a little loop on the tip of the lock handle and then use a sturdy trucker's solid bungee to hold it in place (loop around the tube under the handle then back to the welded loop. You can also drill a hole in the handle tip as MotorSeven did.

I ahve to do some stump removal the weekend. I think you should bring up your root grapple and give it to me. :) I'll definitely look into doing something to keep it from happening again. Thanks.

I haven't done that myself, but have heard a couple of folks doing the same thing when using the grapple.
