Pressure releif valve - front loader - Iseki 1240

Hi guy's,

I'm the new owner of an Iseki 2140, so trying to workout where everything is.

I'm looking for the locations of the pressure relief valves on the hydraulics for my front loader. I've found the PRV on the control spool valve, however there must be another on the tractor somewhere, can anyone advise please?

There should be a relief valve for the 3pt and one for the FEL valve.

On the FEL valve, it is usually close to the IN port.

If you mean the one on the up/down levers (spool valve), I've already found that one, but there must be another somewhere on the tractor it self, or have I miss-understood you?

If you have a FEL or loader, that valve will have a relief valve.

The 3pt always has a relief valve.

If you have a remote valve, it will have a relief valve.

There should be another relief valve in the 3pt area. You should obtain a parts manual for your tractor.

Hold your 3pt handle up to raise and you should hear it scream, and it will be relieving fluid to the tank, and if you install a hyd gage in the hyd system, you can see and perhaps set the relief pressure.

I have previously put out a request for manuals.

There is no sounds of any prv's blowing off when the 3 point linkage is raise to max, nor change in engine tone.

All reliefs don't make sound, but most do.

Install a hyd 3000 psi gage in a tee at the IN port of the FEL valve and you can see the pressure of any hyd component using the hyd.

Well.... finally got a pressure gauge set up, and the result was disappointing, but plenty of room for improving as the max pressure was a touch over 1500psi. I've not done any further investigation yet, but hoping the PRV is the problem as the tractor has only done 208 hours.

If you have a manual, what pressure is the relief setting.

If the FEL cyl's or the FEL valve is bypassing, you may not see any pressure higher than that.
