Stopped in to see Bob at MIE yesterday so I could pick up the 50 hr service. There are now official Kioti Lube products. This was news to me so I thought I would share. If nothing else I thought we could begin the "which fluids should I use: OEM or aftermarket" debates like in the Kubota forum. :)

There are only a small handful of oil manufacturers. None of the majors (Deere, CNH, Kubota or anyone) makes their own. They are all "rebranded"
by Shell, Chevron, etc.. So yes, it will be an oil manufactured and labled by an oil producer/distributor just like everyone elses. Just not sure who.

Had mine in the shop yesterday so I asked the guys about it. They hadn't heard of these products yet, but stated they probably wouldn't carry them anyway. They use Troco products on all of the machines they work on, no matter what color.

Filters were Manufacturer specific tho.
