Howdy all!
I finally picked up my '63 Massey-Ferguson 65D after I purchased it from it's 2nd owner in January. After a pretty long haul getting it back to Kansas from Minnesota, I've run it a few times and a friend of mine who's a full-time farmer and I have been going over it to fix some of the small stuff that has been plagueing it. So far, I love it! My primary use for it at first will be mowing, moving dirt/gravel, and stuff like that as I start to develop my acreage into the "homestead" I've waited my whole life to build.
About me: I'm a former Army Aviator who has transitioned to the civilian sector. My wife and I bought some acreage and are currently building a house out there. I've driven Deere, Case, IH, and Kubotas in my past (though it has been quite a while), so getting back on a tractor has been fun, but it really IS like riding a bike. Once you learn how to drive one, you can drive pretty much all of them.
I look forward to learning as much as I can!
