Mid 50's this morning, supposed to go into the 70's and cloudy and humid, same forecast yesterday, got to 64 in the morning and fell to a damp cool 55 by nightfall. Here on the Eastern Shore if there is a back door cold front around we're going to have ne wind and cool damp weather. I hate cool damp weather!

Sunny and 65* here this morning, predicted high of 84*. My forecast from now till mid-September is as follows; Hazy, hot, and humid with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms. Now over to the sports desk...........

60 this morning with thunderstorm warming up to 78.we had .75 inches of rain in10 minutes.

62 at the moment... Will hit 85 by late pm. Discovered yesterday that my aging body is not up to this warm weather yet. It was 88 and I got almost wiped out just mulching a few trees. I need a month to adjust. I'll do some tractor work today and avoid exertion.

Was out mowing much of today, got almost half the place mowed (2 1/4 acres) and at about 5:20 pm today it was 91 degrees and I took this pic from my front yard. Posted it on FB as a warning to those who live east of us. At 6 pm the sky turned black and the rain came down in torrents...3/4 inch total in a half hour, and as it slackened off, these "diamonds" came down. It cooled to 64 in about an hour and ten minutes. Going to be so muggy tomorrow.

Morning guys!

A so so day here today. Cloudy, but sunny and not too cold. I doubt I'll get out in the garden again today as I did yesterday however, as I don't feel too motivated by the threat of rain.

Coffee is in the cup (as proved by the pictures I'll post in a minute - See Bill, I do post pictures!) and as I type this the weather is taking a turn for the worse. Darn it.

I hope all you guys have a good day and are well.

Oh and the pictures also show the new desk I picked up for free last week.

2 cups of strong coffee this morning. 60 degrees with rain this morning. Heading to 72 with more rain. Got my projects done yesterday. Time to get the patio furniture out of storage today.

I'm going to get a load of hay today at lunch time before the threat of rain gets bad.

I have a buddy coming over this afternoon/tonight to help me. And I think I've got 1 or two coming tomorrow also. I will get a couple loads of hay tomorrow.

I will book my rental car and some hotel room for my trip also. My focus is going to be on mending fences and building bridges next week.

I met with my surgeon yesterday and we agreed to do the less invasive version of Carpal Tunnel Release so I can recover faster.

Last night my daughter practiced for her "Statement of Faith" speach she is giving this Sunday, and she was awesome.

David, glad we could be supportive, that is what TBN is mainly about. Got another 3/4 inch of rain overnight, bringing the total rainfall to an inch and a half since last night. Forecast calls for a high of 71 degrees today. Enjoy your Friday, everyone.

Thanks for pic comment, I was seated on my Deere and stopped mowing to take it, pic was with a 2 mp Blackberry camera so wasn't as sharp as it could have been, but it conveyed the meaning.

48F cloudly,again nice light steady rain thru the the night,showers on/off thru out the day into tonight w/chance of rumbles.

The rain has help grass alot..whew,but much more rain needed for these parts.

60 ish, going to mid 80's or so, up and down over the next few days as a stationary front lingers along the peninsula.

David, hope it all works out for your family, as for the Carpal tunnel surgery, had the old fashioned kind done in '86. I was young and didn't really listen to the doc, who was a hand expert. It slowed my recovery a bit but the old type took 1-3 years to get normal strength back. That isn't to say you couldn't go back to normal activity before that, more like 6 months, but full percentage of recovery was quite long.
