Hey another owner on this thread said he gets aswers to all his questions quickly. So I am sure by Tuesday say I should have the answer from Lord Kioti himself. All joking aside I work with a Plastic Machine manufacturer and all our big machines are hydraulic, we have only filtered the oil not replaced it..We offered a 2 year warranty for a machine that ran 24 hours 7 days a week.

Good. I'll continue to monitor the thread and hope you get clarity for us all.
thanks

Well I still don't have clarity on how in heck do you fill the hydro filter and put it back on? I would need to raise the arse end of the tractor about 8 foot in the air to do that! The filter is Horizontal! If you put much fluid in it and try to screw it on it will run out on the ground before you get the threads started! Am I just being terribly obtuse here, or what? Or are you saying put a little bit of fluid in it and then screw it on??:confused3::confused3:

For what it's worth:

My DK45S owner's manual (table in section 6) clearly indicates "Change" "Transmission fluid" with a circle and a dot in the middle, which according to the legend means "must be done after the first 50 hours of operation."

Just saying.

For what its worth my Service book does not have that dot and I am done with this. You want to change your fluid every 50 hours/ Have at it, not me. If you guy's lived closer I would have liked to pickup your overused oil....

Nobody said the oil needed changed every 50 hours.
They said its the first 50 hours then every 400 .
